UPDATE: Whole Game System Performance

We’re currently experiencing unprecedented levels of traffic in to WGS which has been causing performance issues to Whole Game System. The bank holiday weekend proved to be a major challenge with many leagues looking to commence this weekend. We would like to apologise for any additional work and anxiety the performance of WGS is causing. 

Yesterday evening a fix was released for those users experiencing long loading times upon log in which is already showing positive signs but we’ve still a challenge ahead of us.

We are working hard with our colleagues in FA Digital Technology to re-balance the load on the system in order to improve performance and reduce volunteer time expended.

We will continue to update this thread where possible with updates on performance.

  • UPDATE: Queue-it system deployed to WGS

    A maximum capacity has been set within WGS and additional users will wait in a "Virtual waiting room" to access the site. 

    This may take more time to access the system initially however once you're inside the system should be a lot more efficient and you can complete registrations in the your usual time.

  • UPDATE: Queue-it system now gives an estimated wait time.
