JUMP TO A RELEVANT SECTION:
League Setup
In order to set up referee reporting and allow referees to submit reports, the league need to change their "roles and security" of the referee role within their Full-time page.
League setup checklist:
- Define Roles and Security (Referees)
- Allowing league management roles
- Add referee to Full-time & link to Whole Game System (WGS)
- Assign referees to fixtures
- Create your league's questions
Allowing referees to create reports
1. Go to the setup tab > League options
2. Click "Define the roles and security within your league"
3. Click "Override" or "Edit" next to the referee tab
4. Tick the box that says "Create Referee Match Reports" then click "Update".
Referees upon login will now be able to create match reports for any games that they are assigned to.
Allow league officials to see/manage reports
In order to allow league officials to see/manage any reports you will need to complete the below:
1. Go to the setup tab > League options
2. Click "Define the roles and security within your league"
3. Click "Override" or "Edit" next to the relevant official role
4. Click "Manage Referee Match Reports" and then click "Update"
Add selected referee to Full-Time and link to Whole Game System (WGS)
You will now need to ensure that the relevant referees you wish to submit reports to your leagues are added to your FA Full-Time site and are linked to their WGS account.

Assign referee's to fixtures
In order for any referee to be able to submit a report, they need to be assigned to the correct fixture. Once they are assigned then the fixture will appear within their "Home page" when they sign into Full-Time.
Guidance on assigning referees to fixtures is here: Assign official guidance
Creating league quesitons
Upon opening the referee report, the referee will have a set of "FA Questions" to answer alongside being able to answer any custom questions asked by the league.
The referee will firstly be asked for a confirmation of the score and then be asked if club assistants were provided by both clubs
The referee will then be asked six "FA questions" which all ranked on the below scale:
Question 2: Please rate the home teams behaviour (Managers/Coaches)?
Question 3: Please rate the home teams behaviour (Players)?
Question 4: Please rate the home teams behaviour (Spectators)?
Question 5: Please rate the away teams behaviour (Managers/Coaches)?
Question 6: Please rate the away teams behaviour (Players)?
Question 7: Please rate the away teams behaviour (Spectators)?
At the bottom of the form, the referee will also get the option to "Flag the report as important" - this will then display clearly to the league from within their dashboard if any reports have been flagged.
The league can then set up custom questions to be completed by the referee within the report
1. Go to Referees tab > Referee Report Setup
2. From this page you can manage existing league questions or create a new question by clicking "Create new"
3. After clicking "Create new" you can then create your own custom question which will be asked within the referee report
How to find/complete a report as a referee
All referees can now sign into Full-Time using their FA Account and do not require a FA Full-Time Login invite (sign in using the same details they would use to submit discipline via. Whole Game System). From within FA Full-Time, they will only see fixtures they have been assigned to by the league.
The sign-in link is here: Sign in FA Full-Time
After signing in, the referee will be taken to the "Admin Home" page whereby any fixtures in the last 7 days (or upcoming 7 days) will appear. Please click "Enter Referee Reports" or "My Referee Reports" in order to access all of your reports
Please note: "My Referee Reports" tab will only show fixtures whereby the referee has been assigned to the fixture as a referee. If the referee was expecting to see a fixture which does not appear within the tab then they should contact the relevant league who can assign them to the fixture
In order to edit a report, after accessing "my referee report" tab the referee should click "Edit Report"
Once the referee has clicked "Edit report" they will be taken into the report whereby they will complete:
a) confirm the score
b) complete 6x FA Questions (standard on all referee reports on Full-time)
c) any extra league questions
After completing the report, the referee should click "Update" in order to save the form and submit it to the league
At the bottom of the form, the referee will also get the option to "Flag the report as important" - this will then display clearly to the league from within their dashboard if any reports have been flagged.
How a league can review referee reports
Finding a match report
In order to review any referee reports, please go to your "Results" tab. The furthest two columns to the right are dedicated to indicating whereby a referee match report is missing or whereby a referee report needs to be locked (so it can no longer be edited).
Please note: where the "my referee reports" tab is shown, this is for any reports you need to submit as a referee. This tab will not display referee reports submitted to your league
After clicking into the results tab, you can view any referee match report by scrolling to the relevant fixture and clicking "View Referee Match Report"
We've also added new filters at the top of the page to highlight any fixtures missing referee match reports or whereby the match reports need locking
Reviewing a referee match report's details
After clicking "View referee report" a pop-up appears whereby you can scroll through all questions asked by the league. If the report is flagged then it will be indicated at the top of the screen. To close the report, please click the cross in the top right.
Flagged referee match reports
At present, any flagged reports (which the referee can choose to include to highlight priority of their report) will show as having a red flag next to the "View referee Report" button within the results tab as well as being highlighted at the top of the report
FUTURE ENHANCEMENT: Please be aware we are planning to add a seperate filter to highlight only flagged reports in the near future
Downloads/reports
Please be aware - referee match reports are not currently included within the system however are currently being built and alongside new "Flagging features" will be available for the beginning of next season.
